Kofoed, Jack: The Sherlock Holmes Theory. 12 Nov 2008
The Sherlock Holmes Theory represents the state of pulp detective story writing in the US in 1950. Paid a penny or so a word, these were cranked out by nameless writers under a vast assortment of names. No one will confuse it with the works of Sir Conan Doyle.
The original text file came from pulpgen.com via blackmask.com (now munseys.com) Since each of us format these offerings in our own style, Dr Don and I are each posting our versions of this work. Others are welcome to join in. It was fun. As Don would say at this point, this book has been formatted to my specifications. Your mileage may vary. (Oh wait, that last part was mine.) |
