A Night In With Audrey Hepburn by Wimbledon-resident British author Lucy Holliday, a pseudonym for YA sf novelist Angela Woolfe (ISFDB), is the 1st novel in her A Night In With series of contemporary chick-lit nostalgic humour with magical realism and f/m romantic comedy elements starring an aspiring actress who turns to the classic Hollywood stars of the past (who actually appear to her in some fashion) for inspiration, this installment featuring the spirit (whether ghostly or merely hallucinatory) of Audrey Hepburn showing up to guide her at an especially low point in her life, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher HarperCollins's uncollinated Harper imprint.

For some reason this is filed under Time Travel Romance in the Amazon listings, but the customer reviews would seem to indicate that this is a slightly wrong categorization, unless the heroine gets a lot more hands-on love life guidance from the spirit of Audrey Hepburn than one would normally expect.

Also, the concept of it looks pretty nifty and a nice way to stand out from the usual chick-lit crowd, although I may be somewhat biased since Audrey Hepburn has been my dad's third-favourite classic Hollywood actress for ages (first place goes to Maureen O'Hara, whose films I admit I have never seen, and second place is someone whose name I've completely forgotten).
