My Kindle's USB port is messed up(keeps connecting and reconnecting, and I've tried sooo much, but it does charge fine), and I needed to send a few documents for reference, but one is 93MB, and so Gmail won't allow me to send a file above 25MB.

How can I get this document on my Kindle? I've tried downloading(after uploading it online) via SkipStone(a browser that requires a jailbreak), but it doesn't seem to do anything... The odd thing is, my OTG adapters work fine with lucida's OTG Mouse program… EDIT: I think it might work if I conver it to a .mobi or .azw and then download it…but Calibre takes ages… Last edited by TheFattie; 11-30-2016 at 11:36 AM. |

If you use Send To Kindle app, email is bypassed and the limit is 50MB. Plus you can make adjustments to Title/Author and control which (if any) devices get the document, whether or not to store in cloud. Almost no reason to use email unless Send To Kindle is not available.

It is trivial to split PDFs wherever it is logical to do so and get the size down (if you don't worry about breaking PDF links). Last edited by tomsem; 11-30-2016 at 09:21 PM. |
