How I can add books from directries/sub in pdf only?

Hi,

I just started using Calibre today on Ubuntu, and I was wondering how I can add pdf-only books using Adding books from directories, including sub-directories?

I tried to search google and these forums, but without a solution.

Search for pdf files in your file manager and then drag and drop the results into calibre.

Preferences ==> Adding Books ==> Rules to filter added books

eschwartz, thank you for your reply. I didn't notice that option. The problem is that I couldn't specify only one or multiple formats to pass and ignore the rest. I must add all the other formats I want to ignore, individually. Otherwise, Calibre will add them anyway. I can't add multiple formats like txt, doc, epub etc. And on top of that, I don't know where I can get a full list of the formats supported by Calibre.

I believe Preferences->Behaviour->Preferred input order defines the ebook formats supported

But calibre will store any file type, just that it won't do anything ebook-ish with non ebook formats.
