Twenty-first century America, a hundred and fifty years after the War for Southern Independence, the Confederate States of America once again finds itself in arms against the Stars and Stripes. Having lived his entire life under the forced servitude of a cruel farmer, eighteen-year-old Colton Tennpenny risks everything when he runs away in the night in search of a new life. With no proper education, no known family and no history to his name, Colton is forced to make a choice: return to the plantation, or join the Confederate Army.
