Free (nook/Kindle/DRM-free) Saving a Life [Xtian Drug Tragedy Grief Recovery Memoir]

Saving A Life: How We Found Courage When Death Rescued Our Son by Chris & Janet Morris with a foreword by Dan B. Allender, PhD, and an afterword by Joni Eareckson Tada, is their inspirational memoir about the slow and difficult process of recovery from the tragic loss of their son due to a drug overdose, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

This has previously been offered free in 2013.

Currently free, probably just for rest of the day @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub available to select countries), and may also be free via other venues listed on the publisher's web catalogue page. It's apparently one of the DCC freebies that is skipping iTunes & Google Play, though YMMV in your own locale.

Description
Young Jeff Morris never quite fit in. As a result, his behavior grew more destructive as he grew older. His parents diligently prayed for his life, all the while wondering, What will save our son? But when Jeff was found dead from a drug overdose, the resulting answers were anything but expected.

Saving a Life tells the intimate story of a family surviving unspeakable tragedy. Reeling from the aftershocks of their son’s death, the couple discovers that God is ever faithful, and that Christ is always present.
