I once contacted a seller who had a price like that, thinking I was alerting him to a pricing mistake. He responded to say that was the price they used to keep the listing but remind them it's out of stock. Or something like that, insofar that he didn't change the price.

Back when I sold few movies on Amazon, before they made some of their insane seller policy changes, I used to occasionally have sets that I wasn't 100% committed to selling, but I'd put I really high price on it just in case it sold out everywhere and someone was crazy enough to pay $200 or whatever.

Yeah, I forgot exactly what he said, maybe it wasn't out of stock, but the last one in stock and the similar $5K price reminds him to restock? Something like that related to low stock.
