How to convert Wikitionary dump to mobi?

This is obviously possible - see for example Polish - English dictionary called Bumato based mainly on Wikitionary. However the project seems to be stalled and the dump itself is quite old. Could anybody point me at least in the good direction?

Wiktionary contributor Matthias Buchmeier has created bilingual dictionaries from Wiktionary data for a couple of languages.
He also links to a couple of projects that will generate word lists from Wiktionary files, for example wikt2dict.

However, you'll need to either reformat these text files to the dictionary format required by KindleGen or tab-delimited files and covert them with tab2opf.py or tab2opf.exe.
(The dictionaries generated by the wik2dict project are perfect for tab2opf, but many of them don't contain enough entries to be useful)

Out of curiosity, what language combination(s) are you interested in?
