Kobo Touch now $69 (in Canada)

To go along with the current Mini sale, Kobo and its retail partners (Staples, Chapters, Best Buy, etc.) have dropped the price of a Touch by $30. Sale ends July 18th. The Touch may be the oldest current Kobo device, but I still find it perfectly adequate for my needs (which is slightly frustrating, as it makes it difficult to justify getting an Aura. ) $69 is a great price. If you'd prefer a 6" to the Mini's 5"... you could do a lot worse. |

It's odd but when I compared the two side-by-side I didn't find the size of the screen THAT much better on the Touch than the Mini. In fact, when I saw the demo one from a distance I first thought it was a Mini. For the $30 price difference, I'd personally stick with the Mini |

I looked at both and found the mini just a bit too small for my tastes. Ended up picking up A KT at Staples. My local Coles bookstore had cases on sale and I picked up a black leather Kobo brand one for $10.

I suspect the Touch might go down in price a bit more (if it stays in stock) when Kobo rolls out the next big thing later this year.
