Good catch! strangely enough, when I browse to Office Professional on my Fire HD, the price is still $14.99.

Guess I will buy from Amazon's site and then just download later.

There's no point getting them from Amazon, unless you don't have access to the Play Store on your device. Apps on the Play Store get updated first, and the Amazon apps require the Amazon app to be running in the background.

I bought them expressly for my Kindle Fire so its no big deal for me.

However, I bought them from Amazon.com since the Kindle app is not showing the discounted pricing. Now I don't know how to get it to my device since there is no "send to" option and it doesn't appear in my app cloud on the Kindle.

Yes, before I bought it I saw the little sign to the left that assured me it was compatible with my Kindle Fire.

Sometimes it takes a few minutes for an app to show up in your library. Check the "cloud" section of the apps tab.

Yeah, its already back up.

I had to go into my Kindle settings and force a sync with Amazon to get the apps to show up. But they did.....now only if I could remove the non-pro edition of the Office suite....since it came preinstalled it seems there is no way to remove it (yes, I probably could with root but I am waiting for that to mature a little more)
