IQ May I have some help with the IQ please

Hello everyone

I wonder if you could help me. I managed to download the new firmware update 2.0.6, but unfortunately I lost all my books on the SD card and my device. I thought it would happen with the SD card, but does it normally happen with the device as well? I did have the books on my computer so its not so bad. Is this going to happen eveytime I update my firmware?

Also, I wonder if you could suggest some apps or a wordsearch game I could download. I am so new at this, its difficult to know where to start. Lots of games I tried seem to be incompatible with my Pocketbook, although I tried those before updating my firmware. Please could you point me in the right direction.

it usually happens just on the device. But that's why we always back things up right?
Did you do a factory reset after doing the update?
I use launcher pro + instead of the basic main page. That way I can load up 3 screens and have scrollable widgets on the bottom for quick access to facebook, youtube etc.
you'll want the amazon kindle app. free from amazon site. here's a link to the daily free Kindle books. I check it every day. Once in a while they'll throw in a really good book.
http://www.daily-free-ebooks.com/ There are tons of free apps out there. I'm not into wordsearch, but I know they're out there. There's a download for amazon droid apps too. Lots of free apps. Just don't expect the iq to do racing games or angry birds. It won't. Hope this helps you, if not let me know and I'll find the urls so you can get what you want.

Thank you for your great help, I went onto those sites and tried to download some books but because it was a American site it wouldnt let me. Do you have any links for free books and games on the UK site? I tried looking, but didnt come up with anythinng like that was on the American site.
Oh yes, as to the factory re-set, I didnt try one, I completely forgot about it and just downloaded all my books back onto my pocketbook.

sorry, I don't know of any uk sites. I'm surprised you can't download from smashwords though.
I know there are a couple of free Australian sites but I don't have the link.

I never thought about whsmith site. I found a couple of good books on there.

Still havnt found any wordsearch games, never mind, I'm sure one will turn up somewhere.
