I recently read a wonderful book, The Knights of the Cross by Henryk Sienkiewicz, a Polish classic novel set after the Crusades. This book ends with a notation that the story continues in a follow-up novel by the same author. However, no name or information is given concerning this novel. Any thoughts on how one might find this book? The author has written many.

Well fantastic fiction (which is my go to resource when I'm working at the library's fiction desk) does not suggest that is part of a series. Perhaps the annotation is erroneous?

[edit]: Looks like this book was also published as The Teutonic Knights sometimes in two volumes. Is it possible what you read was just the first volume?

Hmm, it's difficult to say. As mr_nobody found, it seems to have been published as both one and two volume editions. It seems to be in one complete volume at Project Gutenberg, here's the link to all works that they have by him. It appears to match the list of his works on Wikipedia

Once again this forum came to my rescue. I found that there are two versions of the book and on some bookstores the e-version is sold at a very low cost, like $2.99 and there is also a free version. The free version seems to either be without the add-on which completes the story, or it is written in a form of old English which used different proper names etc. as translated from the original Polish. So pay the few cents more. It is an excellent book and I hope others will read it and get the same experience I had in being unable to put the book down.
Although it is fiction, I believe a better description might be to classify it as Historical Fiction which suites it better.
