				Vox Holder

Here's a homemade Vox holder - for those who want to be creative.

The padded base that rests on your lap is from a weight bench. It's that thing that you rest your chest on and exercise -somehow. I never did figure out how. The Vox holder is a piece of plywood covered with a bit of carpet no-slip (the checkerboard stuff). White shelf edging holds the no-slip in place. With the Vox backing and the no-slip, it's pretty steady and doesn't move around at all. Two pieces of hose (with a gap in between for the charger and earphones) are nailed to the bottom. The rubber hose also keeps the Vox from slipping. The plywood is hinged so that you can vary the angle. The black cylinder that holds it upright also came from the weight bench stuff. It's just foam but it stays in place so that you can easily adjust the angle to suit your needs. Works for me! |
