				Christmas books?

I'm looking for some good Christmas books to read. Anyone have any favorites? Although I enjoy mysteries and crime books, I prefer my Christmas reads free of darkness. Corny is fine as long as it's upbeat and a decent story. I've read all of Debbie Macomber's books. Thanks in advance. |

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens always works. There's also Hogfather by Terry Pratchett. It's on Hogswatch. The Discworld's eqiuivalent of Christmas |

But why limit yourself to "A Christmas Carol"? Dickens wrote 5 "Christmas Books": A Christmas Carol (1843) The Chimes (1844) The Cricket on the Hearth (1845) The Battle of Life (1846) The Haunted Man (1848) And they're available at MR in Mobi and ePub format in one handy omnibus edition. It may surprise some people to learn that the popularity of "A Christmas Carol" is a fairly recent phenomenon. Until the early 20th century, "The Cricket on the Hearth" was probably better known and more popular. |

It was mentioned. I really loved Hogfather. Both the book and the movie! | |
