How to Create folders in storage area?

Does anyone know how it is possible to create folders in the storage area? I know the Library doesn't allow for the use of folders but I see folders in the storage area. Any help is appreciated. I just can't find the instructions.

Oddly enough, you need to use the ES File Explorer app to do this. "/sdcard/" is equivalent to "Internal Storage". Navigate to the folder in which you want to create a subfolder and press the Menu button, then New - Folder.

Thanks for this. I knew it must be something easy but i just didn't know what.

Thanks for the question and the answer.

I just tried this and it worked! Then I figured out how to move a file into my newly created folder and was able to navigate there from the email program menu (attachments). One of these days soon I will know enough (about my PE, anyway!

) to stop saying I still have a lot to learn!

Yes I do like smiley faces and exclamation marks!
