Frustration With Amazon's DTP

Hi, Everyone.

In general, I don't mind the Amazon publishing system. It's okay for the most part, but there are certain things I find really frustrating. Chief among them:

Every single thing you do on your book's details page requires it to go through the whole publication process again! Ugh! I just published my first short story collection, and I decided to go back and lower the price, and I have to wait another day and a half for it to update!

I'm sure I'm not the first person here to vent about that, but damn it, I couldn't help it tonight.

This is still the era where the digital cars have hand crank starters. It will get better. Or maybe it's that the breakdowns will be more intensely complicated.

The good news is that when you make changes it tends to go through faster than you would think. Even though it goes through the "review" process etc again.

So even though you get that message the change is usually finished with in 24 hours.

When I've changed the price on a book at Amazon, it has only taken a few hours (not the whole 24).
