				Eliminate margins

On our Kindle 3 I can all but eliminate the margins on the right and left side so that more words fit on a page. In order to do that I had to go in and change a file....no big deal.

I have a rooted Nook. Is there some way to do that with the Nook? I would really prefer to have the entire reading area as the entire reading area. Thanks. |

The Nook Color can do this, it's not unreasonable that the Nook 1.5 update may include this feature, but as of right now, it's not possible.

I fiddled with a Nook Color in the store. I saw three (maybe 4) presets for margins (and line spacing) available through the GUI for the EPub book I was viewing. I'm not sure if you could completely remove margins.

Edit: I only tried EPub. Last edited by John F; 11-19-2010 at 10:21 AM. |

Have you tried an ePub that is set to have no margins to see what happens?

Does the nook color have an SD card slot?

On the nook color, be sure to choose "publisher defaults" ON. If you do this, then the CSS in the ebook (epub) takes over.
