It's not good. You'd better buy a 650

If you go to sonystyle.com and find their outlet store section they are $139.99 refurbished but by sony and presumably with a warranty.
I don't know how good they are. Everyone said the touch screen made the text more faded and slightly less sharp then its rivals like the nook so might be better getting one of those. But it did get some good reviews so perhaps it was ok in its own right just not in comparison. |

The 350 is way better and about the same price. No way I'd get a 600 now.

I agree. Don't buy one. I wouldn't even buy my 900 now.

Ok, let me jump in here real quick and say I still like my 600. I wouldn't get another one today (I would go for a 350 or 650), but as I already have the 600, I'm ok for using it for novels only.
Yes, there's glare and contrast is not the best, but if there's sufficient lighting, it's ok for reading novels :-) |

I found the 600 very hard to read, and sold it not long after I purchased it. I love the 650/350, though.

It's pretty bad (even though PRS+ was ported to it
![]() It's well built, but screen is too reflective / low contrast. On this video, I had to put the lamp far left, to cope with reflections (but you can still see them): |

![]() ;-) and concerning the original question: definitely get a new model (despite the fact that 180$ for a used 600 is ridiculously high)... |
