I always wanted a dual screen reader just like regular books.

Well, that's also what iRiver is doing... I guess the whole point is to recreate something much closer from the experience of a real book, I really don't see any other use for it. A flexible A4 display would suit me better.

have to say I don't much like the idea. Though it means that it could update one screen while you are reading the other : D

Academic wise, dictionnary or reference book on one side and textbook on the other, that would be a great tool. Provided that text seach is easily possible.

You could take notes on one side too... But for this kind of use, we need good software too, adding a second screen won't do much without work on the software. Even big companies don't provide great software for their readers, open source might be the best way to solve this problem, but it'll take time and enough people involved in this kind of project. We really need a "rockbox for e-ink devices".

Or you could just have a split-screen a4 page...

$4350.00 before upgrades and taxes is a lotta lettuce, like my friend would say. Actually this device is just a dual screened touch sensitive tablet, wrapped in aluminum casing.
