Hello from swarmy Florida!
At the beginning of the summer I hurt my back, so have had to spend a lot of time in bed or in PT. My sister sent me a NOOK to help pass the time away (she knew how much her techie sister has been wanting one!). Needless to say, this has encouraged and enhanced my reading immensely and it goes with me pretty much everywhere--waiting rooms, PT, on the treadmill, in bed, etc.

Everyone in our family loves books and we have well over 1500 in a separate library in our home (well, now our oldest son has claimed it as his bedroom). What I love best about ebooks is being able to more easily know what we have and find it. That, and no more cutting down trees or building more bookcases.

welcome I have close to 2000 dead tree books, and because of lack of space, I've had to box them up and store them - I can't even browse them ! Ebooks, however, don't take hardly any space on your bookshelf
