I finally managed to get an Ereader - a Kobo - I was beginning to think the Ereader world had bypassed poor old Adelaide. Yes I know we are tucked away at the bottom of Australia, but we do have a million people and about 4 universities!
Your helpful forum gave me information I needed last night with an ebook query, an excellent site.

Funny that you mention the ebook world bypassing you. Actually one of the first ebook publishers in the world started there. My own wee house took over Jacobyte Books several years ago because of apathy Down Under.

Now, guess where we're opening a fully-staffed new BeWrite Books bureau in October ... right ... Adelaide. It'll be largely staffed by the old Jacobyte team that was so ahead of its time back in 1997. Be sure to touch base.

Welcome CazMar! I'm sure you can find tons of info here and even more links to all kinds of books. Sadly when I was in Oz I never goto the chance to go to Adelaide. I was in Melbourne for a month. I regret not going to an Aussie Footy game either while I was there!
