billw from California Sony ereader PRS 650bc

This is my 1st post and i would appreciate any help;
i don't own an ereader yet! i am thinking of getting a Sony PRS650 but i don't have broadband downloading capability and my qustion is what kind of download time will i be facing without 3G or wireless connectability and having to download to my computer and then to my reader....thank you in advance for any help...billw

Books are usually less than a megabyte in size. So even with an old 56k modem downloading times will be acceptable.
