Well, I read the manual and then I downloaded the "cook book"....That helped a lot......I have 21 pages of pdf books on the kindle already...the main reason I got it was that when I go to conventions, I need to take my reference material with me....The kindle is smaller than my laptop and the battery lasts longer....Now I have become hooked on mobileread.com.....Bob

Retired from the US Navy after 25 1/2 years......Wife's folks retired from Minnesota and moved to Kingman for their health, So......when I retired, we moved here to be close to them......
