Obligatory hello
As the forum is bugging me to post an introduction, here it is.

I'm a Welsh dude living in Norway and married to a Russian.

I used to read too much back in the day (a book every day or two) but that tailed off somewhat through my 20s. Now I'm back reading again although not to the excessive amounts of yesteryear. But after too many hours spent squinting at my iPhone I thought it would be a good idea to invest in an eReader - just ordered a Nook, but thinking of getting a new Kindle as well or instead of.

That's it I guess.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Seems like I'm in for a pound as well as a penny... I've pre-ordered a new Kindle and I will also keep the Nook that's currently sitting in a postal sorting office somewhere. My wife had started to eye up the Nook anyway she'll be happy that we won't have to fight over who gets to use it.

Welcome to the boards. I've tested both the Nook and the Kindle - both work very well. It's a hard decision. Kobo reader is also very good. Of course, I use kindle for pc as I prefer to read on my laptop ...
