Announcement: MyPPC.com will be replaced by MobiDock.com

I just like to inform you all that Myppc.com that have provided optimized mobile links since 1998 will now be closed down. However!

It will be redirected (probably 1st June) to www.mobidock.com which is not yet officially released. We are in “test mode” right now and all MyPPC users (and others) are welcome to be the first to try it out before release.

MobiDock is a fully fledged operator independent mobile internet portal. The portal is completely free to use and the main purpose is to encourage the development of "real" mobile Internet services (Not WAP!).

In Scandinavia (where we are situated) everything is about WAP and “closed gardens”, we got bored of that attitude. MobiDock is a way to show the possibilities with “Real” Internet and services open to everybody independent of nationality or operator.

MobiDock is optimized for Windows Mobile Devices but will work on most devices that can handle HTML. There is vast functionality which is easiest is try out on your own.
But some examples of the services:

Your own profile- Where you have your favorites (friends, links, Map POI:s, services etc) and also your own mobile blog (MobiBlog)

MobiBlog- Your personal blog in which you can publish by MMS or email or from your PC. It handles text, pictures, links etc. One nice feature is that you can also at a map point to it, geographical positioning e.g. a blog picture to a special place.

MobiPlot- Global Map handling where you can share global map points without having a GPS. Just get the Latitude and Longitude by clicking on a map and add to your favorites. You can also get normal map functionality like driving instructions etc.

MobiLink- more than 1600 optimized categorized links. It also works as a RSS reader for RSS stream links so it is possible to watch the content in your browser.

MobiMedia- Examples of low bandwidth streaming services like TV and Radio etc.

MobiMix- Mixed utility functionality like converting etc…

MobiTrafic– A unique traffic service, unfortunately only available for Sweden today.

MobiChat- On line browser based chat, it can also interrupt one of your “friends” to invite him/her to a chat.
