Help identifying a Kobo Touch Firmware Version.
I hate the new firmware. I want my old one back. I have no idea which it was however. I know it did not have a wishlist on the bottom, and that in the upper left was a gear icon you used to turn on wifi and to sync. Any help would be appreciated.

1.9.17 was the best by far and my favorite. No Wishlist on the bottom, Library instead of Reading/Discover. That's the one you could set the shortlist to be on the bottom. Factory install is set to Previews or something but is changeable.

My only regret with the Glo is that I can't use that firmware version.

Mine had no shortlist on the bottom. All it had was the mosaic, and a popup menu for library, and custom shelves. I loved it. I am NOT COOL with any advertising/encouragement to spend money being on my ereader. I wasn't paid/consulted before this unilateral advertising campaign was implemented, and as such, I want no part of it.

There hasn't been a firmware version that had shelves and didn't have shop related stuff on the home page. Shelves where added in 2.0.0. The shortlist at the bottom was added in either 1.9.16 or 1.9.17 and removed in 2.0.0. You might have had 1.9.17 with an plugin that hid the shortlist and enabled some shelf capability.
