Well, I haven't seen anyone post this yet, so just to let you folks know, His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik is currently free on Sony's web site. It's the first book in the Temeraire series.

Its good to see the rather good His Majesty's Dragon is being offered for free again.
It did wonders for Naomi Novik last time with the sales of the rest of the titles in the series up 400% if I remember correctly.

None of which I could download due to geo restrictions...



I even tried to install (at last) the Sony software to get it that way, and the installation program doesn't even have Australia as a valid country!!!!



I gave up.

If you don't mind reading/converting PDF format, it's up in Random House's promotional Suduvu Free Library with no geo-restrictions whatsoever.

In fact, I urge anyone who knows someone who might be interested in reading this but doesn't have an e-reader to go and download the PDF version from there.

This is the first time in months that they've started offering full free books again and hopefully a good response will encourage them to put up more.

This book was great. I've already bought the second one and will definitely get the others eventually. Damn freebies gettin' me attached to a series

It's still free, I recommend anyone who hasn't read it to check it out.
