In Kiev (Ukraine) was the first opening of an offical Pocketbook-Store

Up from the 16. Januar 2010 its possible to buy E-book-Reader of the employer Pocketbook in the Trade- and Entertainmentcenter "DreamTown".(Obolonskii Prospekt, 1B)

"Kiev as the first worldwide metropole of the spezialised dealer of Pocketbook is no coincidence. The capital of the Ukraine is the headquarter of the united corporation "PocketBook Global", which was founded in the beginning of 2010. The new status opens the new trademark "PocketBook" versatility advantages. In 2010 we will release 20 new models of Pocketbook, in which every single one of them is disposing unbelieveable possibilities." Yeah, it's fascinating. B&N is closing the last bookstore in Laredo, and Pocketbook open its first eBookstore in Kiev.

I know for sure that if such a store would be opened in one of the NYC's train stations, say, in Penn Station, it'd sell even more devices (and, probably, e-books as well), than in Kiev, where about 2/3 of e-readers' market belongs to PB

Though, we wouldn't be able to find such nice girls shop-assistants as in Kiev

That is great news! If I was visisting Kiev I would have to stop by and see the store! Alas I don't think I will be visiting Kiev anytime soon.
