iLiad custom key bindings for fbreader

can anyone tell me how to create custom key bindings for fbreader. the tab in options is not self explanatory.

many thanks to all who contribute here. i've been happy to partake the fruits of many of your labors. it is appreciated.

For screenshots (not of an Iliad though) see Visual Tour of FBReader.

The Keys tab binds actions to keys. First press the button icon and then the key you want to bind an action to. Finally select an action from the list that will come up. Don't forget that some keys have long and short press versions (effectively two separate "keys").

thanks. got it to work. read that before but was unsure it applied to platform. kept playing with it till it worked... on mine anyway, the menus disappear to fast to read/make selection on that tab. finally put cursor in box and use arrow in kb as one on screen did nothing.
