Scholarly Journal PDFs from EBSCO into Calibre
I have many articles from EBSCO library database in PDF format saved on my laptop, and I like to be able to read them on my Kindle DX. All of these articles are tagged by the EBSCO database and they have a unique number, kind of like ISBN, called ASSN. Is there any way to have Calibre read that metadata for the PDF upon adding it to the library? I have hundreds of these articles and it is time consuming to enter author, title, journal, volume and issue.

Not as is, someone would have to write a plugin to support it.
