iPad SFGate: The iPads have arrived at Barbacco

I’ve been busy finishing up this weekend’s Food & Wine story on light red wines — splitting hairs between Pelaverga and Schiava — but late word came yesterday from owner Umberto Gibin that Barbacco’s pile of iPads, the destination for its new wireless wine list, had arrived and were live for prime time.

By this evening you should be able to wander down to the FiDi, request your iPad and browse the list — or at least that can be your pretext for playing with an iPad without having to brave the crowds.

Wonder if that's a custom app.
