embedded spaces
Good morning Kovid, and thanks again for your continuing support but I have another question;
There does not seem to be a way to change the default behavior that uses embedded spaces in file names, and even worse, from a linux perspective at least, the mount points for the device filesystems. The checkbox in the Preferences-Add/Save-SavingBooks does not seem to actually do anything as far as the first issue is concerned, is it known to work elsewhere? And as there is no option within the app interface to disconnect the device, on app exit the second issue requires having to unmount the device's internal and external storage manually. This means putting quotes around the mount points, eg. /media/Nook Main Memory (3) or /media/Nook Storage Card (4) and as the app also seems to increment the number in parens with repeated connects/disconnects, it makes scripting a workaround even more annoying. any help appreciated, rikm |

No there is no way to change the mountpoints. You can eject devices from within calibre by simply hovering your mouse over the reader icon.
