PLEASE keep your SD card!!

Dear All:

I have mentioned it several times, and it is in both the User Manual and the FAQ sheet... but PLEASE remember to keep your SD card when if you need to return a device to Astak.

We have no way of keeping track of what SD card came from what person. The cards are simply thrown away. I feel badly that anybody lose their precious files and downloads this way. Please be sure to pull your SD card before shipping!! We do not need it or want it. We just do not want you to suffer losing it!!

Yes, when i returned my PP (last october) because paint problems i was told to send all items that came with my PP except the SD card.

This might be a good thread to make "sticky"...you might want to ask one of the moderators to do so.

Dear Thomas:

Good point!! Yes, even those who may have received a free SD card when the box arrived due to special promo... please send back EVERYTHING except the SD card. We do NOT keep track of who got our promo SD card and who did not. Just please hold onto it.

I mention this because I do NOT want to see anybody lose their card needlessly and some 16GB cards are really too expensive to just lose. When you return units for repair or replace via an RMA#... yank out all the SD cards and keep them, please, for your own sakes.
