Non breaking spaces?
Is there a reason behind why, while in Book view, Sigil sometimes uses non-breaking spaces [ ] and other times uses normal spaces?

I haven't figured out the logic there yet.

You mean when pressing the space bar on your keyboard, the Book View sometimes inserts a nbsp?

Maybe the   is inserted before/after abbreviations, or one-letter capital words, or words that could be units of measure, or numbers...

that was my first thought as well but i seem to recall that that wasn't always the case (i mean, i think there were some where there was absolutely no good reason to put one, unless maybe i am overlooking something, which is also possible). unfortunately i've got no examples handy though.
