I like the ability to read in sans-serif fonts! I like the reader, but the blue button looks stupid.

PocketBook's and Bookeen's device do the same, and even better since you can add your own fonts

On the other hand, it's $149. I can handle a little "looks stupid" at that price. Esp. if it gives me the ability to read library books and non-Kindle ePubs.

Looks like they're gonna go along with Amazon with the ridiculous cartoon animations to represent imagination...because naturally people who read can't imagine things in any way other than children's doodles.

And yeah...the reader looks like a piece of junk, like all the other Chinese cookie-cutter readers out there.

You could say the same about Ferrari cars. The fact that many people consider them to be overpriced and a waste of money does not mean that there isn't a market for them at the price that they do sell for.
