Card Lock Broken

Bought my reader 3 weeks ago.Last night the card retainer/lock failed. ie:When the card is inserted it is locked in place so it can be read from/written to.I will be returning the reader to the vendor for replacement.Has anyone had this happen to them?

Reader:Aluratek Libre Pro (white)
