Multiple enteries per book? how do i sync them to just one per book

Hi
I have multiple enteries for the same books but with different formats, how can i sync all off these enteries into one, i would really like just the one listing per book but with all the different formats still there. I am pretty new to using Calibre

Select all that you want to merge together, then right click, Edit Metadata | Merge into first selected book - delete others.
