What is... the maximum SD card size seen by ...
both Palm OS v5.x as well as Windows Mobile 2003 and up?

I'm curious basically, if both of them will see the 4gb SD card I've got coming. Since TigerDirect had them (150x write speed) on sale for about $120 USD. The 2gb (45x write) were about $37, I think. Or were those the 1gb?

I think it varies even for versions of OS 5.x
My Treo 650 can only read up to 2gig. My 700p can use "many/most" 4gig SD cards, but to get to 4gb you need to be FAT32 compatible.

There is a document with some devices listed on it on the Palm support site, but it takes a little searching to find it. I've referred to it also at PI or PA or 1src, so you might be able to search at those sites.

Dont' know about the Win Mobile side of things.

Oh.. and even if you cant see 4gig, you might be able to see 2gig of it. Not sure.

The Treo 700p and the Tungsten TX both see the 4gb cards at full size. WOOT!
