Literary Ejaculations

I've noticed that many MR members read genre fiction, esp. older mysteries, where the hero-detectives are always ejaculating their comments forcefully. Many protagonists become associated with their "trademark" phrases.

So I thought I'd start a thread where we could list the trademark phrases of our favorite literary creations, and also make it a challenge for members to guess "who said that?"

I'll start off with an easy one:

"Pfui"

Spoiler:
Nero Wolfe
