Cannot open PDB books on Irex DR800SG

Hello, wondering if anyone has a suggestion for this problem. I received my Irex in the mail a few days ago and configured it yesterday (MyIrex account, B&N account, Adobe ID activation). I loaded several epub books from my home PC and they open just fine. However, I bought a book from the B&N store and loaded another via PC, which are both in PDB format, and I get an error when trying to open them:

Could not open this item because of an error in the Digital Rights Management. This error has occurred because the file is property of another user.

I can confirm that I bought both books. I contacted Irex support and they sent me a generic FAQ on problems with PCB format books, but the only solution which applies is to confirm that credit card details are on my B&N account (they are).

Any ideas out in the community? Also I thought B&N changed their books to epub format -- I guess not? Thanks for your help.

Those are eReader books, not ePub. The DR800 doesn't support eReader.

I think for the B&N account you must use your username for the B&N site, not the name on the credit card.

For instance, my credit card says: P. Surname, but my username is Paul Surname

Interesting. I downloaded a PDF from the Irex website last fall which says ereader is a supported format. I suppose that's out of date because the specs page of www.irexreader.com does not list it. Also B&N doesn't indicate the format of the book I bought (it just says "Format: ebook." Nice...)

It does read eReader (.pdb) books.

There appears to be some confusion about the required credentials. The B&N eBook Settings page in DR800 asks for the "Name on card" where you are supposed to provide the full name used to create your account at Barnesandnoble.com.

Thanks Gertjan! That solved the problem. My card has my middle initial, but my B&N username does not. A summary:

Problem: Irex DR800SG error Could not open this item because of an error in the Digital Rights Management. This error has occurred because the file is property of another user.
Possible cause: Irex "Name on card" field does not match B&N username.
Solution: Use your B&N username for the Irex "Name on card" field (FIRST NAME + LAST NAME fields).
