Sony 900 reader

Previously posted a very brief review of this ereader. Ordered and just received Sony's PRSA-CL9 specifically made for this ereader. It is a double LED light which throws adequate light upon a screen that I feel needs it in subdued light. It is well made, attractive and its best attribute is convenience. There are book lights out there that produce better light, but convenience is a necessity with this ereader, and the others are tack-ons and extra carry. Any of these book lights can be adjusted to properly angle the light head to avoid screen reflection. You loose some light doing so, but the three and four head LED lights are more than adequate to angle the head away to avoid any reflection.

Hey that's good to know. I've got my PRS-900 on the way and I previously bought the PRSA-CL9 for it - it was a wrong model I bought for PRS-300 but it'll all work out well in the end

I agree to wanting convenience but it seems to me Sony could improve the light throw of this cover.

No doubt about it, but you will find the light adequate at best. In most ambient light situations the 900 is quite good particularly outdoors, and is a relief to the eyes from the back lighting we all suffer through on computers.
