Is Best Buy cheating?
The Best Buy wetsite says DR800SG "Usually ships in 1-2 business days". When I ordered DR800SG. It also said ship in 1-2 days. After order, It send me an email, said that would ship in 1-2 weeks.


Edit: I just got an email from Best Buy. It said "your shipment is on its way!"!

Why are you posting here?

BestBuy.com is known for taking your money and having you wait, wait, and wait. They did this with the Sony PRS-900, though it was listed as backordered (1 - 2 weeks) which turned into several weeks.

The IREX is listed in stock again. Who knows if it really is. I prefer to order from Amazon or direct from manufacturer when I can.

I just do not feel good when I saw best buy's email said "The item listed below is not yet available to be shipped. We expect to ship it within the next 1-2 weeks." They should change their website from 1-2 days to 1-2 weeks.

Scion is right, Best Buy (and others) have a way of saying one thing, then after they get the money they tell you "the rest of the story"..... I buy from their brick and mortar, but not online. I tend to get better online deals at tigerdirect, newegg, amazon...etc...

I don't even do that, if there is another option due to a couple of truly horrible customer service experiences......I did however buy my Sony 900 there because they had it in stock.
