It's been talked about before, I think.

It's one hell of a messy site, though, and with as much design-sense as Phylis Diller wearing a mini-skirt and halter top prancing down a runway. However, if one can wade through that mess, one might find something interesting.

Please do not post scary stuff without a warning label.

By the way, I met her when I worked in NYC in the 70s. Very nice lady.

I think you need a happy face after your comment!

You met her before her plastic surgery, I think. (Perhaps I should have also mentioned Minnie Pearl.

When I clicked on the link to a book I was interested in, turned out it cost 14 dollars. There's some disclaimer buried in that bit of a mess somewhere about how some of these free books are promos that might not be free by the time you get to them so maybe "free" here isn't something to be taken too literally.

I only found one book that I wanted, no problem.

Just found 2 others. Free, guess I have cheaper tastes.

Yes, it seems that not all books are free. Life's tough.

I've seen much worse.

The same is true of some of the other reader/ereader/paper book sites. This site is really an exception.

It's a good site I think- I have found many books from there. I am trying to go outside my box of what I would normally read since there are many places to find free ebooks. If the same description were on a paperback book and was priced for sale I would have walked away, but since they are free, I give more of them a chance than what I generally would and so far have been glad I have. Some books that I thought would have been a bore have been good reads and when it comes at the price of "FREE", who am I to complain?

Dear Dr. Drib,

I don't understand why you feel so threatened by me. What is it you're afraid I'm going to do? Do you have any valid reason for believing that?

Since you aren't going to figure it out for yourself, here's a tip: I will leave you alone if you leave me alone. Have you never noticed that I don't say anything about you until after you've insulted me? Or is it that you feel you need to publicly pick fights with people online to entertain yourself and boost your ego?

It's long, long past time to let this go.

Everyone who is interested in finding free, legally distributed novels is invited to come look around my well organized, well designed blog. Use the category list or search box at the top of the page, or just browse back through one page at a time. If you sign up for the rss feed you will be notified of new additions.

My thanks to HorridRedDog for telling people about my blog, I'm glad you like it.
And thanks to the rest of you with enough courage to say what is true instead of letting someone with an agenda tell you what to think.
