Hello Folks

Hello Everyone

Hope I can learn the process of using the Calibre. It seems very impressive.
I have been creating my own e-books for years from Word .doc and .txt and .html to the MS Reader format .lit from many online books locations (like the Gutenberg Project site), but in the past couple of years, since the Word 2007 version came out the MS Reader Add-in doesn't work as well as the Word 2000 to 2003 did.

Lately I am in the process of republishing detailed information on Our Founding Fathers of the USA and the Constitution Files and letters on any and all information involved.

With the Word 2007 there is constant problems in the CSS data.

My main objective is to create an e-Book that anyone can read, study and find any answers they need to understand info they have Questions about. This is to make hyperlinks fully functional. With Word 2007 the meta-data is way too excessive and more data that is used in the document that is causing the errors.

I really hope that I can learn the Python language and the process in using the Calibre manager, cause I want to make multiple formats so I can get it published all over the nation so people can get the understanding of our country and how it was founded.

Thanks
Larry

I have been studying the forum and the users Manual to gain the understanding I need for the conversion and management process. A couple of Questions, with an Image.

Yes desertgrandma I have been there and downloaded and am testing it's operations.

Where in the forum do I ask InDepth Questions about the Operations, mainly the internal Processes and the modules running.

Best place to ask more in depth questions is the Calibre forum. kovidgoyal is hanging out there and is usually very quick to answer questions. Sorry I can't help, but your question went straight over my head - barely heard the sound it made when it did
