iPad .epub support?

I realize the iPad hasn't been released yet, but I was wondering if support for exporting to the iPad will be supported in Calibre. I believe the format will be epub... Does that mean it'll use the same settings as the Nook, or will the margins, formatting, etc. be different? I just want to make sure that all my ebooks will work on the iPad when I get it!

Impossible to say until it is actually released. But I really don't anticipate any problems reading your current epubs on it.
