Hello from Louisiana
Hello, I am a new ereader. Just got the Nook about a month ago. Absolutely love it...I have a brother who is an avid ereader and he convinced me to take the plunge. I love reading all genres, except science fiction, just can't seem to take that leap.

I grew up in Lakeview across the street from Mount Carmel.

When I think of Gentilly, I think of the Mid-City parade, and the Gentilly Art movie theatre which showed a double feature every Sunday which always included a black and white Peter Sellers movie from the 50s!

Gentilly, down the street from the racetrack, Endyminion was a neighborhood parade passed in front of my house and Mr Buddy's snoballs were a summer staple. My son-in-law grew up in Lakeview behind Mt Carmel. Lost all in Katrina.
