Importing Books from Project Gutenberg

My old computer died, and I bought a new one running Windows 7 x64. Installed Calibre and imported my library into it. I've noticed now that when I import any new epub books from Project Gutenberg, they import as the filename "pg*****", instead of listing the title, author, etc. How do I fix this, I didn't change any options when installing it, and I don't see the option to make it see the metadata.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

make sure read metadata from filenames is not checked in your preferences.

It wasn't checked. Any other ideas?

check that the metadata reading plugin is not disabled in preferences plugins

Same thing here. (Not checked, Last,first was checked.)
PG#, Author unknown
Sigil won't even open open the file(from the file open menu). "No Filename"
A PG epub problem ?

Just checked that too, everything is enabled.

The latest version of the Sony Reader library for windows sees the metadata as it should.

that epub file is broken, badly. Somebody needs to notify PG. In particular the container.xml file is broken (incorrect XML namespace)

It is not just one

file. I grabbed 6 files the other day. ALL had problems.

for applying your expertize in reviewing the problems.
