Taking My iLiad On Holiday
I've been using the iLiad for the past few weeks here in hot, dry Arizona, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with using the iLiad in a humid, tropical environment. I'm hoping to be taking it on vacation with me to the Carribbean, but am a little worried that the dampness might affect the device...
I thought I recalled some very early technical postings warning about a lack of water-resistance in e-Ink devices. Anyone used their iLiad around a pool or the beach? How paranoid do I need to be? |

I haven't taken the iLiad to the pool or beach, although I did splash the screen with some drops of water the other day, and that was ok. But I live in a VERY humid place, avg. yearly humidity 69%, and in the middle of a heat wave (aprox. 100º the other day, with a thermal sensation of 122 due to humidity), and my iLiad's fine (better than me!).
