Any plan for an 'on top' reading light for the 900
attached to the cover...lies flat on top of the screen..button makes it light up...i used to use that one all the time with my 505, though it had an annoying film on it.
Not sure what light to get with the 900 that's not obtrusive. |

I would give it a few months and let it get out to a few more people and I bet you'll see a lot of the manufacturers coming out with both covers and lights.

I'm still happy with my Mighty Bright TravelFlex. Like being able to remove the light and reduce weight without having to remove the entire cover
![]() Had the XtraFlex 2, but found it simply too big to be comfortable and gave it to my mum who's now happily using it with her huge table-top Bible ![]() |

Sony's given up on that style, I think.
They are using a flex light integrated into the cover now, and there is one listed on the Sonystyle site now for the 900, to round out the other two for the 300 and 600. |

Looks like a nice combination - not sure I can justify the $60 for it at this point
![]() I'll see if I can get it for a birthday present though, time to start hint dropping ![]() |

Dangit! This might have been enough to make me keep my 900, instead of sending it back last week. I thought an integrated light & cover would come out, but not before my return window expired. Oh well. Though that does bring the price in total to almost 500 bucks (reader + light + shipping + taxes).

I kinda figured the same myself, but I prefer a smaller clip-on light. I like my Mighty Bright flex light, but I might try to find another one to go with it that is a bit smaller.

There is a combo cover+light available for the 900. I am thinking about going to the Sony store to check it out in person. However, I've already ordered the Kandle light off Amazon (before I knew about the combo cover+light). It's should arrive tomorrow. The reviews for the Kandle are pretty good. Although the drawback is that its designed to match the Kindle.

FYI ... if you go to the Sony Style store in San Jose they don't have it, and aren't sure when they are going to have them ... I ended up picking one up via Sony Style and now I wait until the weekend ....

It will be great if I ever must read in bed with poor lighting. Now I have the standard cover for home use, the Case Logic cover for use away from home and this new cover with light for bedroom or other low light locations. |
