So today, (Wednesday, 1/13) KK had her knee replaced. Pretty sure she's not online with her computer......and probably won't be for a couple more days.

In the meantime, lets let her know we're pulling for her to get really better soon!

Ouch KK! I hope the surgery went well and that you have someone at your beck and call to bring you bonbons to eat while reading your Kindle (one can dream can't one?)

KK, I didn't realise you were going in for surgery! I hope your recovery is swift and as complete as possible - big hugs and prayers for exactly that.

A complete knee replacement huh? Did you get the upgraded bionic model with the integrated port for charging your kindle?

The new knee reader. I like it.

But seriously, I hope all goes well and remember, don't push yourself too hard. But do all the exercises the doctor and physical therapist recommend so you can be back up and ready to runt he marathon.

Marathon?! No way! You should start with easy exercises after the surgery

As long as your are getting the USB knee, why not get the optional elbows with crushed ice dispenser and ice water on tap?

I'll leave it up to the engineering types around here to figure out the filtration and recycle system for the water.
